Super Bowl RV Hospitality: SoFi Tows Anything Left Overnight

The RV is a venue, not a hotel

Most Super Bowl RV hospitality proposals are written as though the unit lives at the stadium for the week. SoFi's parking policy rules that out in one sentence: "Overnight parking or storage of equipment by guests in tailgating areas is not permitted. Any vehicles left overnight will be towed at the owner's expense."

So the unit arrives on game day, works, and leaves on game day. That is a materially different operation from a multi-day festival deployment, and it means your plan needs two locations rather than one: the credentialed game-day position, and a separate overnight staging site for the days either side.

The credential is the whole job

SoFi routes oversized vehicles to specific zones with specific passes. For NFL games that is the Hyundai Pink Zone, Lot P, with a "Pink Zone – Oversized Vehicle" pass. For non-NFL events it is the Red Zone with a "Red Zone – Oversized Vehicle Only" pass, entering via Century Boulevard onto Yukon Avenue.

The consequence for anyone without one is stated plainly: "Vehicles without proper credentials will be redirected off-site." Not fined, not given a worse spot. Redirected away from the stadium, which for a hospitality unit is total failure of the deliverable.

There is a second credential people conflate with the first. SoFi states that oversized vehicles are prohibited from tailgating areas unless an oversized tailgating pass was purchased. A parking pass gets the vehicle to a legal position. A tailgating pass is what permits the activity around it. Confirm in writing which of the two you actually hold, because a hospitality unit that may park but may not host is an expensive box.

Check the seat count on your shuttles, not just the RVs

SoFi's definition is broader than most planners assume: oversized means "Recreation Vehicles (RV's), Shuttles, Buses, Motorcoaches or any motor vehicle with a seating capacity of 16 or more people."

Nobody publishes the price, and we are not going to invent one

SoFi's parking page says only that "Parking fees will vary based on each event. Parking fee details will be announced as the event goes on sale." There is no published oversized-vehicle rate for a regular NFL game, let alone for a Super Bowl.

Treat any specific per-vehicle figure you find in a hospitality guide as somebody's guess. For a budget, carry the parking as an open line item and confirm it when the event goes on sale, rather than committing a client to a number nobody has published.

What most people get wrong: assuming the regular-season policy applies

Everything above is SoFi's standing policy, which is the right baseline for planning and the wrong thing to rely on for the day itself. A Super Bowl is credentialed by the NFL and the host committee, with a security footprint and lot allocations built for that event specifically. The Pink Zone process that governs a Rams or Chargers game is not automatically the process on February 14, 2027.

Use the published rules to size the problem: you will need an oversized-vehicle credential, you will not be permitted to stay overnight, and your shuttles may be classified alongside your coaches. Then confirm the actual Super Bowl LXI process with the NFL and the host committee as soon as credentialing opens, because that is the only source that will be authoritative on the day.

Where RV hospitality genuinely earns its place

None of the above is an argument against it. A credentialed coach at a Super Bowl gives you climate-controlled private space, a bathroom your guests do not queue for, a base for staff across a very long day, and a branded physical presence in a lot where everyone else has a tent. Those are real and they are hard to buy any other way.

The point is that it is a day-of venue with a hard end time, so build the day around load-in and load-out windows rather than around an overnight presence. Companies that get value from this treat the coach as a hospitality suite that happens to have wheels, staffed and stocked for one long day, and they solve accommodation separately.

Plan it in this order

1. Confirm the Super Bowl LXI credentialing process with the NFL and host committee. Do not assume regular-season Pink Zone rules.
2. Audit every vehicle by seating capacity. Anything at 16 seats or more is oversized.
3. Secure an oversized-vehicle credential for each qualifying vehicle.
4. Separately confirm whether you hold an oversized tailgating pass, if the activation involves hosting around the unit.
5. Book an overnight staging location for the nights either side. Nothing stays at the stadium.
6. Build load-in and load-out around the same-day requirement, with a hard departure before any overnight cutoff.
7. Carry parking as an open budget line until fees are announced with the on-sale.
