What does Camp EDC require of an RV at Las Vegas Motor Speedway?

Camp EDC inspects every RV on arrival and requires a Class A, B or C RV, trailer, truck camper or fifth wheel with a separate on-board generator; a total length not exceeding 45 feet including any tow vehicle; a working air conditioner powered by a built-in, non-engine-driven generator, with external gas generators not permitted; and, if power was purchased, a cable totalling 75 feet with a TT-30P connector for 30-amp or a 14-50P for 50-amp.

What to do about it

Specify the unit against that list before booking, not after. Confirm in writing that the coach has a built-in generator that runs the roof air, measure coach plus tow against 45 feet, and source a 75-foot cable with the correct connector, because rental coaches ship with roughly 25 to 30 feet of shore cord.

What it costs if you don't

EDC states that power cords will not be available in the campground and that refunds for unused power purchases will not be granted. Arrive without the right cable and you have paid for power you cannot reach, with no refund and no way to buy a cord on site.

Can a group of RVs camp together at Camp EDC?

Camp EDC divides the RV campground into areas by power type, dry camping, 30-amp or 50-amp, and states that RVs with a Power Add-On are placed in a different section from RVs without one. It also states that multiple RVs wishing to be placed next to each other must arrive at the same time, and that there are no saving spots.

What to do about it

Agree the power option across the entire group before anyone checks out, then arrive and check in together. Both conditions have to hold; either one alone is not enough to keep the group in one place.

What it costs if you don't

Three coaches on 50-amp and one that skipped the power add-on end up in different sections of the campground regardless of when they arrive, and there is no mechanism to move them together afterwards.

How many people does one Camp EDC pass cover?

Camp EDC states that only one Camp EDC Pass is needed per RV, for up to eight people and not exceeding the maximum legal capacity of the RV, and that no camper needs to buy an individual camping pass. It also states that Camp EDC passes do not include festival passes and that all campers must hold an EDC Las Vegas festival pass to be admitted to the campground.

What to do about it

Size the coach to the group’s legal sleeping capacity and buy one camping pass, then buy a festival pass for every single person. The camping cost per head falls as you fill the unit; admission does not.

What it costs if you don't

Booking a second RV to house overflow buys a second camping pass you may not have needed, while anyone without their own festival wristband cannot enter the campground at all, even holding a valid camping pass.
