How many parking spaces does an RV need at NRG Park?

At least two, and more for a canopy. NRG Park states that "RV's will need to purchase a minimum of two parking spots and need to park in designated RV areas in each lot. You will need to purchase additional spaces for canopies."

What to do about it

Budget the parking as a multiple rather than a single space, and add the canopy footprint separately if the activation includes one. The requirement is a minimum, so a longer unit may need more.

What it costs if you don't

Arriving having bought one space means either buying a second on the day if any remain, or not parking. A canopy erected over unpurchased space is a separate problem again.

Can an RV stay overnight at NRG Park?

Not by default. NRG Park states that "Overnight parking is not allowed, unless authorized by management." It also limits tailgating "to the parking spot and space directly behind or in front of each vehicle, whichever is adjacent to the drive lane, but not blocking the lane."

What to do about it

Seek written authorisation in advance if the deployment needs an overnight presence, and design the activation footprint to sit within your purchased spaces plus the adjacent one.

What it costs if you don't

Without authorisation the unit has to leave and return, which for a multi-day event is a second set of moves nobody budgeted.
