Renting for Speedweeks?
Tell us which ticket you are buying and we will price the rental against those nights rather than the full nine-day span.
Speedweeks presented by AdventHealth opens with the Clash on Saturday February 13, 2027 and ends with the DAYTONA 500 on Sunday February 21. That is a nine-day span carrying a four-day headline ticket, and the mismatch is where people lose money on the rental.

Start times were listed as TBD on the Speedway's ticket pages when checked on September 7, 2026. The Rolex 24, Supercross and Daytona 200 are outside Speedweeks and included here because they share the same campgrounds.
The three days nobody mentions
The Clash runs Saturday February 13. The next published on-track session is DAYTONA 500 Qualifying on Wednesday February 17. February 14, 15 and 16 carry no event on the Speedway's ticket pages at all.
This is not a flaw in the schedule, it is how Speedweeks has always worked, and there is plenty to do in Daytona Beach in the middle of February. It is a problem only when it is invisible to you at the point you book a coach for "Speedweeks" because that is what the event is called.
Rent to the ticket
| If you buy | It covers | Rental length |
|---|---|---|
| DAYTONA 500 only | Sunday February 21 | 1 to 2 nights |
| 2-Day package | February 20 and 21 | 2 to 3 nights |
| 4-Day package | February 18, 19, 20 and 21 | 4 to 5 nights |
| Full Speedweeks including the Clash | February 13 to 21 | 9 to 10 nights, with 3 days carrying no published session |
What the mismatch costs
Booking a coach across the full February 13 to 21 span to use a 4-Day ticket that starts on February 18 is roughly five extra rental days, three of which have no published session. On a Speedweeks-rate coach that is a substantial number for time spent sitting in a campground waiting for Wednesday. Decide the ticket first and let it set the dates.
The exception is a group that genuinely wants the Clash. It is worth knowing that the Speedway describes the Clash as returning "For the first time since 2021" and calls it a "special one-year return." If seeing it at Daytona matters to you, 2027 is the year that is published, and the extra rental days are a deliberate purchase rather than an accident.
What the 4-Day package actually contains
The Speedway describes the 4-Day package as a reserved seat for the DAYTONA 500, the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and ARCA Menards Series doubleheader, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, and the Duel At DAYTONA. In date terms that is Thursday February 18 through Sunday February 21.
The 2-Day package covers the DAYTONA 500 and the Saturday doubleheader, so February 20 and 21. Wednesday February 17 qualifying is sold as a separate single-day admission and is not part of either package, which is worth noting if qualifying is the reason you were planning to arrive early.
Camping does not follow the ticket calendar
One thing this page cannot tell you is how Speedweeks camping maps onto these dates, because the Speedway sells camping as a Speedweeks product and every campground showed sold out with a waitlist when checked. Arrival and departure dates for a camping reservation were not published on the campground pages we read.
So if a waitlist offer arrives, the first question is which nights it actually covers. Do not assume it matches your ticket, and do not assume it spans the full nine days either. That answer determines your rental dates, which is why it comes before the rental booking rather than after it.
What most people get wrong: treating the Rolex 24 as part of the same trip
The Rolex 24 At Daytona runs Friday January 28 to Sunday January 31, 2027, more than two weeks before the Clash. It uses the same campgrounds and its camping also showed sold out with a waitlist, which is why it appears in the table above.
It is a separate event with a separate camping booking and a separate rental. Nothing about a Rolex 24 reservation carries over to Speedweeks, and the two are far enough apart that no sensible rental spans both.
"The first question I ask anyone booking Speedweeks is which ticket they hold, because Speedweeks is a nine-day name on a four-day ticket for most people. If they have the 4-Day I am quoting five nights. If they say they want the whole thing I make sure they know there is no racing on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday after the Clash, and then I quote it happily, because some crews genuinely want that week. What I do not want is somebody paying for it by accident."

Plan it in this order
- Choose the ticket. Single-day, 2-Day, 4-Day, or the full span including the Clash on February 13.
- Register on the Speedweeks camping waitlist, since all inventory showed sold out.
- If a waitlist offer arrives, confirm exactly which nights the camping covers.
- Book the coach for those nights plus arrival, not for the nine-day event span.
- If you are taking the full span, plan February 14 to 16 as days off rather than race days.
- Treat the Rolex 24 in January as an entirely separate booking.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 2027 Daytona Speedweeks schedule?
Speedweeks presented by AdventHealth opens with The Wheatley Vodka Clash At DAYTONA on Saturday February 13, 2027. Racing then resumes on Wednesday February 17 with DAYTONA 500 Qualifying presented by Busch Light, followed by the Duel At DAYTONA on Thursday February 18, the Fresh From Florida 250 Truck Series race on Friday February 19, the United Rentals 300 and General Tire 200 doubleheader on Saturday February 20, and the DAYTONA 500 on Sunday February 21. Start times were listed as TBD when checked.
How many nights do you need to camp for Speedweeks?
That depends on the ticket, not the event. The 4-Day package covers February 18 to 21, so it needs four or five nights including arrival. The 2-Day package covers the Saturday doubleheader and the DAYTONA 500, so two or three nights. Only a plan that includes the Clash on February 13 needs the full nine-day span, and February 14, 15 and 16 carry no published on-track event.
Is there racing every day of Speedweeks 2027?
No. After the Clash on Saturday February 13, the Speedway’s ticket pages list no on-track event on February 14, 15 or 16. Racing resumes with DAYTONA 500 Qualifying on Wednesday February 17. Anyone camping the full span should plan for three days without a published session in the middle of the week.
When is the Clash at Daytona in 2027?
The Wheatley Vodka Clash At DAYTONA runs on Saturday night, February 13, 2027. The Speedway describes it as returning "For the first time since 2021" and calls it a "special one-year return," so it should not be assumed to recur in later seasons. A $25 refundable deposit reserves priority grandstand access and $100 reserves hospitality options.
